Can you spare a few hours of your time?
Broadway has a range of volunteering opportunities. We are looking for people who want to share their skills or learn new experiences.
Each Broadway project manages its own volunteers. The minimum requirement for all placements are:
- Volunteers will be expected to give 2 hours of their time once every two weeks
- Placements will last on average between 6 and 12 weeks
- Each volunteer will be given specific training on how to work with vulnerable adults
What roles are available?
We welcome your ideas on how you think you will best be able to support people who are moving towards independence. Below are some examples of roles recently filled by volunteers:
- Offering translation services for Polish clients at the Broadway Centre
- Delivering a series of drama workshops at the Broadway Centre
- Teaching people how to cook at our hostels
- Covering the reception areas in our hostels or at the Centre
- Assisting our Street Outreach teams on a ‘street count’
